ACCREDITED TRAINING PRACTICE

Informed by our quality management system (QMS) the following tasks are critical to the successful delivery of an accredited training programme be it a learnership or skills programme (short course).

ACCREDITED TRAINING PRACTICE

All our courses are on the SAQA National Qualification Framework are vary according to levels

  • NQF Level 1 – 5

    Duration of study & assessment is 1 year

  • NQF Level 6 – 7

    Duration of study & assessment is 2 years.

  • Skills Programmes (a cluster of unit standards belonging to the same qualification)

    The duration is determined by the total credits which are then multiplied by 10 notional hours to determine the allocation of time for theory, practicals and work integrated learning (WIL)

Certification

All our courses are on the SAQA National Qualification Framework are vary according to levels

  • For learnerships and occupational qualifications, the certificate is issued by appropriate quality assurance body, either the SETA or the QCTO

  • All certificates be they for short courses or qualifications/learnerships are issued out with an accompanying statement of results (SoR) from the appropriate SETA or the QCTO.

  • VB Skills only issues a certificate for a short course successfully completed after receiving a state of results from the appropriate SETA
